A different way to learn
As my son grew up, helping him with his homework became harder and harder, especially in French. I spent a huge amount of time going through his school textbooks and searching the Internet myself to find the Year 5 and Year 6 tutoring resources he needed.
I asked other parents whether they knew of any online French tutoring that could help us. I realised I wasn't the only one constantly searching the Internet and jumping from one site to another, hoping to finally find one that clearly explained the topics covered in class.
Quality academic support seemed impossible to find
One day, I asked my son a question while he was watching a cartoon. He was so absorbed he didn't even answer me. Then he said: “Wait, wait: watch this bit. I love it! I've seen it before…” And he explained the whole scene to me. That's when I thought:
If we could get our children to focus in class the way they do in front of their favourite shows, we could spark many pupils' interest in school.
